Professional Summary

Highly motivated ICT professional with 13+ years of experience in network design, implementation, System and Security, and project leadership. Currently, I am focused on enhancing my expertise in the cybersecurity domain, which is still underdeveloped in Bangladesh, through my ongoing Master’s degree in Cybersecurity at the University of Dhaka. My goal is to leverage my extensive experience in ICT and network security to contribute to the growth of cybersecurity practices in Bangladesh and beyond.

At my previous role from 2012 to 2021 at BDCOM Online Limited at BDCOM Online Limited, I managed large-scale BGP/MPLS/OSPF data networks and implemented secure data networks for leading banks such as DBBL, IBBL, Ansar-VDP Bank, and RAKUB. I also played a key role in securing the Felicity IDC Data Center, ensuring robust data center protection and high availability.

For the past 3.5 years, I have been working with Summit Communications Limited, where I handle IIG international routing using high-capacity devices from Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, and DWDM networks. I manage international upstream connectivity and CDN deployments for global providers like Google, Facebook, Akamai, and Netflix, as well as downstream connectivity for telecom operators such as Banglalink (BL), Robi, Grameenphone (GP), and various ISPs.

My career began in network operations, and I have since expanded my expertise into Linux administration, open-source projects (including web servers, email, DNS, proxy, NMS, AAA, virtualization, and private cloud), and network security (working with firewalls like Palo Alto, Fortinet, Barracuda, and systems like Imperva and Cloudflare). I am proficient in Linux scripting, IPTables, system hardening, and vulnerability testing, ensuring secure and efficient network operations.
